Looking to hire a Mandarin-Speaking VP of Technology plus Front-End and Back-End Engineers

We have an exciting Vice President of Technology opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help grow an international crypto company entering the U.S. market. Looking for a technology leader to build and manage a team of U.S.-based Front-End and Back-End Engineers. Fluency in the Mandarin language is a must.

Vice President of Technology, Mandarin Language Required:

This position is Hybrid for the first month then 100% Onsite.

Responsibilities:
– Hire, train and manage a team of Front-End and Back-End Engineers.
– Coordinate with technology team overseas.
– Lead Software Engineers across the full software development lifecycle.
– Lead development of company’s product platform.
– Ensure enterprise-quality, horizontally scalable code using best practices.
– Maintain a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:
– Knowledge of many of the following technologies: PHP Laravel Framework, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, Node.js, Git, Ajax, Angular, Vue, React, Svelte, and JSON.
– Fluency in the Mandarin language is a must.
– Experience with Agile development under the SCRUM methodology.
– Experience hiring, training and managing front-end and back-end software engineers.
– Strong desire to help grow a company’s business.
– Excellent communication skills

Front-End Developer:

As the Front-end Software Developer, you will join a highly functioning team comprised of a combination of full-time and part-time professionals across the globe. If you can demonstrate success then you will have a chance to work across multiple products of virtual currency NFT Mall and Exchange.

Responsibilities:
– As part of a team, deliver complete front-end sites and products.
– Parse APIs (JSON) into front-end interfaces using one of framework and related tools, HTML and CSS.
– Build responsive design, handle page navigation and turn mock-ups into web pages quickly and according to spec.
– Write, test, maintain and document re-usable code.
– Participate fully in code reviews and work with internal designers, developers and QA to ensure quality code.
– Collaborate daily with other frontend developers, backend developers, and our data team across the full software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:
– 5+ years of professional development experience or provide your previous works.
– Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design, and complexity analysis
– Very familiar with at least one of the following front-end frameworks: Angular, Vue, React and Svelte. Among them, Vue is the focus of emphasis.
– Software development fundamentals, including testing, troubleshooting and using version control (we use GitHub).
– Familiar with and/or have experience with Agile development under the SCRUM methodology.
– Demonstrated achievement in front-end development technologies like HTML5, CSS3 and framework tools.
– Ability to create component-based reusable and testable modules and pages.
– Experience using data interchange formats, such as JSON or XML.
– Team player with excellent communication skills.
– Experience building responsive web sites.
– IOS android add development tools, such as Flutter is a plus.
– The ability to write unit tests using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) or Test Driven Development (TDD) is a plus.
– Eye for detail is a plus.
– Demonstrated ability to prioritize.

Back-End Developer, PHP, MySQL, Ajax:

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate daily with other developers across the full software development lifecycle. Develop and maintain the company’s product platform.
– Write, test, maintain and document reusable code in PHP using Lumen/Laravel and MySQL.
– Develop enterprise-quality, horizontally scalable code using best practices, quickly and according to spec.
– Develop APIs, outputting JSON or XML for use by frontend interfaces.
– Work in a casual, team-oriented environment to develop custom Web Applications and Mobile Apps for different projects in our office.
– The technologies that you will be using primarily PHP Laravel Framework, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, Node.js, Git.
– The practices that you need to know or learn quickly are Coding Guidelines, Security Practices, Ajax, XSS Prevention, SQL Injection Prevention, Deployment, eCommerce.

Qualifications:
– Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with PHP and Object Oriented PHP.
– Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with MySQL.
– Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with JavaScript and JavaScript Framework (jQuery, HTML/CSS, XML).
– Experience with PHP Frameworks- Lumen/Laravel is a plus.
– Experience with Android and iOS App Development is a plus.
– Able to speak Mandarin is a big plus.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
– Mobile Optimized Websites / Application.
– Objective-C, C#, Java, Python.
– MVC, HMVC, or MVVM Patterns.
– Linux language.
– Must have the ability to follow through, with attention to detail.
– Demonstrated ability to brutally prioritize. Be prepared to give examples of critically important projects you didn’t get done in favor of even more important projects.
