Cloud Software Engineer with C/C++, TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance Required, Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD

As a Cloud Software Engineer with C/C++, you are expected to perform requirements analysis, software design, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution at a high level of proficiency and independence. You will communicate directions and provide guidance to more Junior Programmer/Analysts, as required. Cloud Software Engineer with C/C++ must be adept at developing solutions which balance cost, capability, availability and resilience. Additionally, Cloud Software Engineer with C/C++ may be responsible for evaluating project needs, determining tasks and durations, and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance. This is a 100% Onsite position and not open for Hybrid and/or Remote.

Cloud Software Engineer Qualifications:

– Must have an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired, which will be considered equivalent to 2 years of experience. A Master’s degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to 4 years of experience.
– One of the following Cloud Developer Certification is required: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), or Elastic Certified Engineer.
– 5 or more years of Software Engineering experience.
– Need at least 4 years of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java or C/C++
Should have demonstrated ability to work with Open Source (NoSQL) products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase, Accumulo, Big Table, etc.
– Need at least 3 years of experience developing software for UNIX/Linux (RedHat versions 3-5) operating systems.
– Need at least 3 years of experience in software integration and software testing, to include developing and implementing test plans and test scripts.
– Shall have demonstrated technical writing skills and shall have generated technical documents in support of a software development project.
