Cloud Software Engineer, TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance Required, Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD

We are seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support the Cyber Mission business unit located in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Cloud Software Engineer will support multiple products that automate manual tasks so that mission customers can focus on more complex issues. The team employs Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to ensure that high-quality, reliable software is delivered to the customer. The position is to be performed at contractor facility which allows for flexible work schedules. In addition, the opportunity for teleworking is available based on tasking and customer approval. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance. This is a 100% Onsite position and not open for Hybrid and/or Remote.

Cloud Software Engineer Qualifications:

– Must have an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired, which will be considered equivalent to 2 years of experience. A Master’s degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to 4 years of experience. Note: A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field.
– Need 8+ years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and problem – Experience with Full Stack development with both front and back-end experience (Java/JavaScript)
– Experience with Cloud Computing Services Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, Docker Orchestration (Swarm, Kubernetes), ElasticSearch/ELK, GitLab, CI/CD, or Jenkins, Java/Spring/Junit, JavaScript (React or Vue.js), JSON, MongoDB, and Redis.

– Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) is preferred.
– Shall possess at least 1 of the following Cloud Developer Certifications: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
