Mike Stapinski
President, Next Step Systems

Mike's professional recruiting career began in 1986. He relocated to the Chicago area from Avonmore, PA. At this stage in his career, he was seeking an opportunity where he could leverage his skills in the Computer Information Systems field. Like every job seeker, he was looking for an opportunity where he could utilize his strengths and grow.

After evaluating his options, he decided to change his initial course and pursue a career in technical recruiting. He was offered a position to work as a technical recruiter with a national personnel agency and started a new career. He quickly learned how to apply his technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to achieve results for his clients.

After a few years of recruiting, he earned an award for the top consultant in the nation in the Information Systems division. Mike was promoted several times and started to move up the corporate ladder. He has hired and trained several employment consultants, many of whom are currently recruiting for various types of corporations and other search firms.

In 1995, Mike co-founded Next Step Systems, LTD. His long lasting career as a recruiter has been built on strong ethical values and his ability to match the right talent with the right opportunity.
