Network and Systems Engineer
Ideal candidates for this position will possess
exceptionally high skills in infrastructure
architecture for the web hosting industry and
virtualization in a service-provider model.
Responsibilities:
-Setup/configure corporate server(s) in accordance
with provisioning orders and/or support requests
-Setup/manage network, security, wireless, and
IP telephony infrastructure (routers, switches,
firewalls, gateways, LAN/WAN)
-Setup/manage server/desktop virtualization
infrastructure
-Setup/manage storage area network infrastructure
-Setup/manage corporate user accounts and roles/permissions
-Assist/contribute in the development of systems
automation tools and processes/procedures
-Write Network/System documentation
-Provide customer and internal support and technical
issue resolution
Technical Qualifications:
-Switching (Cisco Catalyst 3750, Juniper EX4200/4500)
-Routing (Juniper J/M/MX Series)
-Protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
-VMware ESX/ESXi 4.x (vSphere, vCenter, vCloud
Director) installation, configuration, administration,
and troubleshooting
-NetApp Filer (DataOntap, iSCSI, NFS) configuration
and administration
-Dell Equallogic SAN (iSCSI) configuration and
administration
-Windows Server 2003/2008 installation, administration,
and troubleshooting
-Linux Server (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) installation,
administration, and troubleshooting
-LDAPv3 and/or Windows Active Directory
-Databases: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
(installation, administration, and troubleshooting)
-Server hardware knowledge and experience (Dell
PowerEdge R610, M1000e blade chassis, M-series
blade servers)
-Wireless: Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and
LWAPP Access Points

-Able to work independently and efficiently
to meet deadlines
-Able to multi-task, prioritize, and resolve
multiple inquiries at once
-Able to promptly respond to issues via email,
telephone, and other electronic communications
-Self motivated and detail-oriented
-Ability to work evenings/weekends as required
and be on-call 24x7
Education and/or Experience:
-High school diploma or general equivalence
degree (GED) (required)
-Minimum three years working in web hosting
(preferred)
-Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree (preferred)
