Top tier proprietary electronic trading firm
seeks exceptional C++ developer to participate
in the architecture and development of the next
generation of trading applications.
Responsibilities:
-Learn and internalize the theories behind current
trading system.
-Participate in the design, architecture and
implementation of next generation software.
-Take ownership of system from design through
implementation.
Qualifications:
-3 or more years experience as an exceptional
developer.
-Deep knowledge/passion around a particular
area(s) of technology such as: TCP stack optimization;
Multi-core 1 machine parallelism; Low level
performance/cache optimization/profiling
-Ability to relate/communicate effectively to
all levels of the organization.
-Heavy attention to detail; broad picture view
as well.
-Prior experience in performance critical applications.
-Creative/Innovative problem solving skills.
-In-depth knowledge of desktop and network software.
-Eligible to work in the United States.
-Analytical Mindset.
-Exceptional proficiency in C++ (should be open
to other languages i.e. Java).
-Familiarity with Linux environments.
-Passion for software development.
-Strong interest in finance.
-Experience with hardware and/or real-time systems
a plus.
-Focus on performance of applications under
high load.
-Desire to consistently improve skill set and
knowledge base.
-Willingness to work on the cutting edge of
technology.
-Iterative development style.
-Efficient communication skills.
-Easy going nature.
