Looking for a highly motivated technologist
who has strong core visual design skills, user
interface framework experience, strong technical
skills, as well as good communication and project
management abilities to help us design, architect,
develop the next generation of web application
framework.
The Core Web team is responsible for Core Content
functionality on the Sales Desktop and the Client
Website applications such as Market Data, News,
Research, Search and Alerts. The team is also
responsible for web application infrastructure,
which includes User Interface generation, Content
Management, Search Infrastructure, High Availability/Scalability/Resource
Pooling, Authentication/Security, and development
and build related tools.
Mandatory Qualifications:
-Strong creative problem solving skills
-Strong Visual Design/User Interface skills
-Strong JavaScript/Web 2.0/AJAX experience (e.g.
JSON, ExtJS, JQuery, GUI, GWT, etc.)
-Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design
and Development
-J2EE Experience
-Investment Management business knowledge
-Good verbal/written communication skills
-Ability to work in a team environment
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-UNIX Operating System experience
-Sybase or IBM UDB experience
-Source Control Systems (CVS, Subversion)
-Continuous Integration/Build Tools (such as
Ant, Maven, Hudson, CruiseControl, Archiva,
etc.)
