Technical Operations Team Lead
Will help with relocation. Will sponsor H1B.
Responsibilities:
-Assistance with the day to day running and
maintenance of the production environment.
-Provisioning and support of hardware and software.
This involves Interfacing with the core and
infrastructure technology teams including Database
Administrators, Network, Storage, SA and middleware
specialists.
-Responsibility for maintaining the monitoring,
scheduling and escalation processes of applications.
Monitoring covers both detection and escalation
when problems occur and the pro-active monitoring
of processing to ensure that both capacity and
processing deadlines are met. Business Continuity
planning is also a key component of this function.
-In order to ensure that production systems
correspond to best practices, make significant
ongoing investment in ensuring company is using
the most up to date tools and software to control
the environment. As part of the role you will
be expected to help deliver these toolsets.

Qualifications:
-Degree or equivalent.
-Personal development.
-7+ years of IT industry experience (which includes
extensive hands-on technical experience).
-Knowledge of Securities and/or Derivative products.
-Knowledge of Java and messaging technologies.
-Experience of distributed architectures.
-Ability to write scripts using Perl and UNIX
shells. A working knowledge of database use
and concepts.
-Experience with monitoring and process control.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior experience with an investment bank.
-Team leadership experience.
-Evidence of system ownership and responsibilities
described in the Role and Responsibilities section.
-Strong communication and organizational skills.
-Looking for a very motivated and bright individual,
