As a Java Software Developer on the commerce team you will be responsible for delivering high quality software solutions in a timely manner. The commerce development teams are focused on building a user centric online commerce experience that drives the company’s growth by delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle from understanding requirements through estimation, design, implementation, deployment and production support.

This is a fast paced and driven team that is focused on enabling the company’s stellar growth through the implementation of the industry leading ATG e-commerce platform. This role includes developing and supporting commerce solutions using Java, some Oracle database work and ATG technologies such as the Business Control Center, Customer Service Center and Commerce environment. The development teams operate in an Agile SCRUM process to be as efficient as possible. Understanding and experience in ATG is a valuable skill set and we are looking for a driven, passionate and dedicated software developer who is looking to increase their experience in commerce with the industry leading commerce solution.

Required Qualifications:
-3+ years experience in professional enterprise (n-tier or web application) development using Java.
-Familiarity with Oracle database systems.
-Sound object oriented principals in production software design and development.
-Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as unit testing, configuration management, and release management.
-Working knowledge of Linux development environments.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with ATG eCommerce platform.
-Exposure to the JBOSS J2EE container.
-Experience with design patterns in production development.
-Experience with high traffic business critical environments.
-Exposure and ideally experience with defensive and secure coding practices.
