Regulatory Operations Analyst / Developer

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for participating in
requirements analysis, design, development,
and testing of new applications, as well as
supporting/maintaining existing applications
for Legal Entity Management regulatory reporting.
In addition to strong technical and analytical
skills mentioned below, an ideal candidate for
this role will be self motivated, possess strong
communication skills, able to communicate with
users to gather requirements or troubleshoot
problems, participate in design discussions
and work in a team environment.
Mandatory Qualifications:
-5-8 years of strong hands-on development experience.
-At least 4 years of Java experience.
-Strong Object Orientated programming skills.
-Strong SQL and Relational database modeling
skills, preferably DB2.
-Experience with testing frameworks such as
Fitnesse, Junit.
-Experience of working on multi-tiered, large
scale frameworks and applications.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
-Experience in .Net C#.
-Experience with Apache Tomcat, jBoss, JSP,
Pearl, XML, XQuery, middleware/caching technologies.
-Event Driven architecture.
-Experience with Sybase IQ.
-Financial Services or regulatory systems experience.
