Work in a global team responsible for designing,
building and maintaining test harnesses and
software configuration management toolsets.
Systems are high performance, real-time C++/Java/C#
systems running on Linux/Windows. The ideal
candidate will have a strong object oriented
C++/C#/Java background in reliable distributed
real time systems on UNIX/Linux/Windows platforms.
Financial industry business knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, and execute automated tests
using the selected tool, which will likely require
programming in C, C++, Java, C#, or some scripting
language.
-Understand the role of testing within the software
development lifecycle (SDLC) and business-related
project constraints, and effectively advocate
for the best possible customer experience of
product quality within those parameters.
-Select and develop appropriate test automation
tools, applying the latest techniques in test
automation; e.g., data-driven testing.
-Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements,
system architecture, and detailed design documents;
i.e., perform manual static testing.
-Perform code reviews with development teams.
-Work with development teams to capture and
reuse automated unit test cases, test stubs
and drivers, and other development test objects.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Computer
Science or an engineering discipline.
-Experience with various tools for automation,
testing and life cycle management.
-Strong C/C++/C# in a real time application
development environment.
-Knowledge of database and performance tuning
techniques.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability
to work in a team environment.
-Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work
with minimal supervision.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks.
