Field Services Technician / Technical Support
$17-19/hr
The Field Services Technician will be required to travel
between Shingle Springs, CA and Sacramento, CA several times
each week.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required.
Professional appearance with outstanding customer relation
skills, effective time management and attention to detail
are extremely important. Detailed reporting skills, quality
focus and result oriented individuals preferred. Candidates
must have reliable transportation, be able to lift 50-75
lbs and be willing to travel.
Responsibilities:
-Working tickets through the helpdesk management system
predominately from on-site users.
-Rotational on call and possible shift work.
-Provide documentation around the following items:
--Daily timesheet entries on work performed
--Expenses and Receipts when traveling
--Customer support information including network diagrams
and scopes of work
--Regular self development training with goal of obtaining
minimum of one new certification pertaining to this position
annually.
Qualifications:
-Knowledge of Citrix environments and Citrix Management
-MS Exchange Administrator, including but not limited to:
Active Directory Users & Computers, Active Directory
Sites and Services, Group Policy
-Experience in network infrastructure, including but not
limited to: configuration and installation of Cisco routers,
switches, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
-Server Maintenance experience, including patches and updates
-Helpdesk Ticketing support experience
-Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
-Printer installation and service skills
-Experience with virus and spyware removal on networks and
individual systems
-Exceptional customer service skills
-Excellent administrative and documentation skills
- Degree and/or Certifications Preferred, including but
not limited to: MCSE, MCSA, MCP, Comptia A+, Comptia N+,
CCNA Excellence in Customer Service
- Ability to Multi-task
-Willing to travel as needed
-Work a regular on call shift
