Systems Administrator - Solaris - New York City

Up to $100K

Join a global UNIX Systems Administration Team. Provide support to all UNIX-based technology across all internal departments as well as to external clients. The candidate must have a strong technical ability with SUN Solaris, Veritas Clustering & Volume Manager, Legato, Shell Scripting and SAN technology (EMC).

The candidate must be willing to work two shifts (early 7:00am – 3:00pm and late 10:30am – 6:30pm). Candidate must also be willing to provide weekend on-site coverage using a rotating system of once per month.

Mandatory Qualifications:
-Solaris 8/9/10 (SPARC and x64)
-SAN connectivity in an EMC or HP environment
-Veritas VCS & Volume Manager
-Good shell scripting
-Well-motivated to deliver projects on time.
