Responsibilities : SHIFT: SUNDAY-THURSDAY (Midnight
- 8am)
• Provide high-level technical support
during problem determination and resolution.
Qualifications :
• BS degree or equivalent work experience
required. SUN Microsystems Certification a plus.
• Mininum 1+years operational experience
in a SUN systems environment.
• Strong knowledge of SUN server hardware
and peripherals.
• Strong knowledge of Solaris administration
and troubleshooting.
• 3-year experience in a role involving
direct customer contact (internal and external
customers).
• Knowledge of backup-restore methodologies,
exposure to large-scale hardware configurations
is a plus.
• Knowledge of other platforms, especially
HP, a plus.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 35
pounds as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication
skills.
• Must be able to work off shifts and
weekends.
• Must be self-motivated, team player,
and able to immediately contribute to a fast
paced, deadline intensive environment.
• Must be able to learn quickly in a highly
technical fast paced environment.
• Proficiency in Windows based applications,
WORD, EXCEL and database experience.
