You will take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they affect production trading. Work closely with traders and trading system operations members to identify software bugs and then properly relay that information back to development and QA teams for patching. Through a close relationship with the trading desk, you will be in a position to analyze day to day activities and suggest tools and software enhancements that will provide benefit to the traders.</p> <p>Responsibilities:<br> -Candidate will at times be required to provide desk side IT support.<br> -Support users with installation of hardware/software and networking components to meet personal computer needs.<br> -Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with individual or multiple computer systems in order to maintain proper functioning; resolve issues including contacting and assisting vendors.<br> -Conduct diagnostic reviews and produce error reports as requested by customers in order to identify and correct any problems.<br> -Assist with computer studies, projects, and implementation of policies.<br> -Assist in the design and development of standardized operational management reports in order to identify issues or monitor computers.<br> -Research, analyze and provide hardware/software recommendations, ordering information, and other purchasing information to users to assist in purchasing necessary equipment.<br> -Diagnose and resolve moderately complex end-user hardware/software problems including remote access software.
