Responsibilities:
-Work with the entire e-Business Suite of Oracle Applications including: updating and maintaining applications, writing and maintaining existing reports, helping to evaluate/implement new modules, performing data conversions, and assisting in software upgrades using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and/or Java.
-Act as liaison to various end-user communities, working with users on a daily basis providing functional support as well as technical troubleshooting assistance.
-Mentor and Supervise other developers and co-ops
-Interact with the database administrator, developers, system administrator and end users to interpret business requirements.
-Perform requirements analysis, functional design specifications utilizing current systems, methodologies and tools.
-Assist in the review and prioritization process of change requests and new development projects specific to the Oracle Applications.
-Unit Test code changes, prepare test plans and adhere to established coding standards
-Evaluate and make recommendations on new and existing end-user tools and products.
-Provide management with timely reporting related to various activities including sales, revenue forecasting and budgeting.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:
-College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of eight years of progressive experience with the development and operation of financial applications.
-Must have hands on functional experience with two or more of the following Oracle Applications: Accounts Receivable, Human Resources, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, or Purchasing.
-Minimum five years experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms 6i, and Discoverer.
-A firm understanding of the development life cycle including the analytical skills necessary to satisfy testing documentation, and Change Management requirements.
-One year supervisory experience required.
-Ability to work under pressure and hit deadlines.
- Solid understanding of Oracle and associated tools.
-Knowledge of Java, JSP, HTML, XML development a plus.
-Knowledge of Lotus Notes and UNIX desired.
-Familiarity working with Accounting principles
-Strong communication and organization skills required.
-Good understanding of information systems and their relationship to business functions.
-Create and maintain reports using Oracle Discoverer.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
