GUI Developer Sr - .Net

Part of the team is responsible for ongoing development of new platform that includes: Portal, Datawarehouse, Reporting and Trade Processing. The successful candidate will be an effective Senior Developer in .Net development and creation of new portal GUIs.

Responsibilities::
-Developing new Front end applications and responding to user requests for changes.
-Developing new portal widgets using present architecture and framework (Silverlight,telerik,.net, Prism, SOA)
-Continuing to enhance and improve the architecture and implementation of the GUI applications
-Rapid development in silverlight and .net environment
-Working on new UI requirements and Business requirements
Mandatory Qualifications:
-7+ years in-depth experience with .Net GUI (Winforms, etc)
-3+ years in GUI development using SOA architecture
Additional Highly Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior experience with Silverlight
-Knowledge of Prime Brokerage
-Experience using Telerik, DevExpress, SyncFusion.
-Must be comfortable in a front office environment, capable of delivering quality solutions in aggressive timelines
-Should always be considering how to improve applications, architecture and environment
-Strong communication skills – must be able to discuss technical design, give clear updates on status and escalate issues appropriately. This applies to in-person communication and presentation as well as to telephone and email communication.
