Software Developer Consultants and Product
Support.
Full-time permanent position.
Ability to work remotely.
Responsibilities:
-Provides basic consulting services to internal
and external clients.
-Supports the creation and delivery of enterprise
content management solutions for clients.
-Responsible for the development and configuration/customization
of applications according to approved specifications.
-Participates in the technical design and implementation
of business and functional requirements.
-Participates in the User Interface design.
-Participates in Development activities: Develops
application code (client and server side) according
to project development coding standards and
guidelines; Plans and performs automated / manual
Unit Tests of developed application code; Logs
and remediates Unit Test level issues; identifies
un-resolvable Unit Test level issues and Performs
code; determines if technical design and/or
code modifications are required.
-Understands source code control systems (i.e.,
SVN) and change tracking systems (i.e., Jira).
-Authors and/or updates project ANT build scripts.
-Executes build scripts and competes build checklists.
-Authors Release Notes and Installation Instructions.
-Executes Installation Instructions.
-Performs limited installation regression testing.
-Participates in authoring and /or updating
project release documentation
Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in IT Consulting (preferably
with Enterprise Content Management) and in the
Life Sciences industry.
-Must have strong Documentum and Oracle and/or
Microsoft SQL Server experience as well as application
development experience using Java, JavaScript,
Documentum’s DFC, WDK, and DQL.
-Must have a thorough understanding of the Software
Development Life Cycle with experience working
in a Regulated Environment.
-Excellent Oral and written communication skills
is required along with strong client facing
skills.
