Quality Assurance Engineer
Up to $100K
Responsibilities:
-Creating, maintaining and supporting the QA
environments for a number of Trading System
applications.
-Manage the QA test environments. Installation,
configuration and maintenance of trading systems,
the UNIX distribution, RPC server hosts, the
hybrid trading middleware apps, the Sybase databases.
-Documentation of the QA test environments;
configuration, topology, applications process
flow.
-Ad hoc Trading System failover and recovery
testing.
-Ad hoc Trading System performance testing.
-Test tool development and maintenance.
Qualifications:
-3+ years of Unix/SunOS
-3+ years Shell scripting
-3+ years TCP/IP
-3+ years RPC
-3+ years IP/XML
-Sybase
-Perforce
-Documentation (Visio/Excel etc.)
-Self starter, Problem Solver who requires minimal
supervision
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-Aegis Exchange simulator
-Verifix FIX simulator
-Any formal development experience
