Engage in the development of a proprietary,
low-latency matching engine that lies at the
heart of real-time electronic marketplaces for
fixed income and foreign exchange products.
Design and implement new algorithms to improve
the performance of the matching engine. Engage
in software design and evaluation of hardware
architectures and configurations. Port trading
system from its current implementation on Open
VMS to Linux based Intel architecture systems.
Engage in the implementation of trading logic
that provides new trading solutions and financial
products for our clients. Work with the Quality
Assurance team to enumerate and implement various
test cases to evaluate the performance and robustness
of the system.
Qualifications:
-Master’s degree in Computer Engineering
-Minimum 2 years experience.
-Experience must have included: developing sophisticated
algorithms for use in real-time trading of fixed
income and foreign exchange products.
-Programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, bash
scripting, Perl and Intel 32-bit and 64-bit
instruction set.
-Extensive knowledge of the Open VMS and Linux
operating systems.
-Experience with multi-threaded design, TCP/IP
network programming, memory management techniques,
inter-process communication, digital signal
processing and digital system design.
