$160-$170K plus bonus potential up to 20%
Looking for individuals with experience at a consulting
firm and experience growing a technology consulting business/practice.
Master’s degree is highly preferred, but will consider
candidates with a Bachelor’s degree.
You will lead a group that focuses on delivering Data Center
and Infrastructure Optimization services to clients. This
includes leveraging emerging technologies and solutions
to address client problems and deliver exceptional results.
You will be responsible for solution development, business
development, practice development, and thought leadership
for your service line and for the Technology Architecture
practice as a whole.
Responsibilities:
-Attaining annual Sales ($2-3MM), Revenue ($4-5MM), and
Billable Utilization (70%) goals
-Driving sales and business development activity for client
accounts managed and within target accounts
-Engage Industry Sector leaders and domain experts in the
pursuit of new opportunities
-Engage Industry Sector leaders in development and execution
of account plans and penetration strategies
-Providing thought leadership within the Service Line across
all industries
-Manage the Service Line solution offerings
-Identify and develop new solution offerings within the
Technology Architecture Service Line that meet industry
needs
-Refine existing solution offerings to keep pace with changing
market conditions
-Retire solution offerings that no longer meet market demand
-Developing the Technology Architecture Service Line practice
by leveraging up to 20 staff in the development of processes
and methodologies to support the business development and
delivery capability of the service line
-Leading the execution and delivery of consulting projects
-Leverage up to 20 delivery resources across multiple accounts
and project engagements
-Execute robust project management methodologies that provide
best in class delivery and a scalable platform
-Delivering Quality Assurance to ensure the highest degree
of Quality and Client Satisfaction (based on value delivered)
for engagements in the region
-Managing the skill set and strength of the engagement and
consulting staff to balance short and medium term objectives
-Attract, develop, excite, and retain an outstanding group
of individuals that as a team will outperform the competition
-Building and managing relationships with C-level &
mid-level client executives and being involved in executive-level
sales support activities
-Lead engagement staff in building strategic relationships
within accounts that lead to programmatic, longer duration
and higher value contracts for consulting and other Availability
Services businesses
-Working closely with the Industry Sectors to provide market
feedback and identify and develop new products and services,
to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness
of practice methodologies and project management, and to
deliver world class collateral and success stories based
on business value delivery.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree (Business or Technical) at an accredited
university
-Master’s degree preferred (MBA) preferred
-Typically 12+ years of experience in a consulting firm
organization
-Possess a strong and very established track record in delivering
large, complex, long-term engagements (2+ years and $2-$4
million in contract value).
-Possess a strong track record in developing Service Line
solutions
-Possess an interest and passion towards engaging the imagination
of Senior Level (i.e. CEO, CIO, and COO) executives in grasping
and enabling the fundamentals of business change through
consulting solutions.
-Demonstrate strong leadership skills, particularly with
highly diverse teams
-Minimum 10 years’ experience with Data Center &
Infrastructure Optimization
-Minimum 5 years direct consulting experience
-Minimum 5 years in Best Practices / ITIL and outsourced
availability services
-Minimum 2 years management experience
-A highly-motivated, self-directed individual who is tenacious
in his/her approach, and approaches business in an energetic
way
-Superior interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability
to win the confidence of individuals both within and outside
of the organization
-Successful line experience of building and growing consulting
services business
-Proven track record of dealing with senior level executives
and forging them into positive and profitable partnerships
-Demonstrated success managing teams and senior level professionals
in a consulting environment
-Demonstrated team development skills
-Significant client-facing responsibilities, including leadership
roles in sales process
-Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
-Advanced communications skills both written and verbal
-Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
-Demonstrated mastery of consulting at the senior management
level
-Exceptional organizational and communications capabilities
-Experience in public speaking including presentations to
senior executives and large groups
