Responsibilities :

· Assist in the review and prioritization process of change requests and new development projects specific to the Oracle Applications.
· Working with the entire e-Business Suite of Oracle Applications including: updating and maintaining applications, writing and maintaining existing reports, helping to evaluate/implement new modules , performing data conversions, and assisting in software upgrades.
· Interact with the database administrator, developers, system administrator and end users to interpret business requirements.
· Perform requirements analysis, functional design specifications utilizing current systems methodologies and tools.
· Evaluate and make recommendations on new and existing end-user tools and products.
· Make recommendation and assist in development of various information support systems for the Accounting, Finance, Billing, Contract Administration and Human Resources departments.
· Provide management with timely reporting related to various activities including sales, revenue forecasting and budgeting.
· Act as liaison to various end-user communities
· Other Projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

· Bachelors degree in a business or computer related field preferred.
· Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience with the development and operation of financial applications.
· A firm understanding of the development life cycle including the analytical skills necessary to satisfy testing documentation, and Change Management requirements.
· Solid understanding of Oracle and associated tools.
· Minimum three years experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Forms 6i.
· Knowledge of Java, JSP, HTML, XML development a plus.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, Lotus Notes and UNIX desired.
· Familiarity working with Accounting principles
· Strong communication and organization skills required.
· Prior experience working with Oracle Applications Financials and HRIS required
· Good understanding of information systems and their relationship to business functions.
