Onboarding Data Specialist
Will relocate the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
-Ingest and register new data sources in the
Firm’s Research Data Library
-Define and sign off on data quality controls
to ensure data meets required criteria
-Design and sign off on operational procedures
developed for clearing & validation team,
and related training
-Liaise with data suppliers to drive quality
improvements and to manage quality escalations
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
-5+ years of developing specialist knowledge
in an asset class, including at least one of
macroeconomic, company, credit / fixed income
or futures / options
-Strong understanding of reference data and
metadata and their role in data onboarding
-Understanding of data governance best practice
and experience in developing data quality controls
preferred
-Flexible, ability to multi-task and work to
tight deadlines, committed
-Highly intelligent, driven individual with
strong logic, structured thinking and good common
sense
-Comfortable giving and receiving criticism,
managing small to medium initiatives, and taking
charge of the tasks at hand
-Open, engaging personality
