Extraordinarily intelligent and resourceful individual sought to help architect next-generation Microsoft Windows infrastructure for technology development firm with approximately US $17 billion in aggregate capital and an international reputation for financial innovation and technological leadership. The person we hire should be capable of conceptualizing, building, and deploying systems management and automation technologies for both Windows servers and a large body of Windows PC clients. He or she will work both independently and with our 25-person systems staff on substantial design and research projects within the Windows environment.

Responsibilities:
· Develop scalable Windows systems for both our campus and global networks
· Identify, research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies
· Develop and implement management and related tools
· Engineer solutions for the firm's growing, highly-resilient Windows infrastructure

Requirements:
· 5+ years of hands-on experience with server applications in a Microsoft networked environment
· High level of expertise in the following areas:
o Windows 2000/2003 Server (including IIS)
o Exchange 2000/2003 Server
o SQL 2000 Server
o Active Directory management
o Security management (including Group Policy Objects)
o TCP/IP networking
· Some expertise with UNIX administration
· Some expertise with LAN network administration
· Excellent knowledge of server hardware and strong problem-solving skills
· Solid programming and scripting abilities
· Project management and documentation skills
· High level of initiative and dedication
· Demonstrated ability to be a team player and willingness to lend a hand with any project
· Demonstrated ability to manage packages (release updates) and apply security patches
· Demonstrated ability to develop tools to maintain and monitor corporate infrastructure
