Responsibilities:
-Work on systems and network planning, architecture, build
and maintenance for trading environment.
-Responsible for all aspects of proprietary
trading environment, including datacenter and
colocation set-ups, vendor access points, server
engineering, network design, hardware/software/connectivity
research and systems support across all business
areas.
Qualifications:
-Successful candidates will have a minimum of
a bachelor’s degree in computer science
or engineering from a top university
-Strong knowledge of network / connectivity
and/or x86_64 Linux server technologies, particularly
related to ultra low latency design.
-Minimum of 3 years experience in architecting
and supporting a highly reliable, scalable and
cost-effective heterogeneous network of computers
and related communications equipment is required.
-Candidates must have some programming experience
(C and/or Java), as well as knowledge of scripting
languages such as Perl and Bourne Shell.
