Manager, Software Development
Will help with relocation.

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for leading a team of software
engineers in the design, development and deployment
of tier1 distributed software systems in a dynamic
environment.
-Work closely with various functional teams
(technology, technical program management and
business) to ensure that business requirements
are translated to technology requirements and
subsequently drive the implementation of software
(using scrum) from design through successful
deployment.
-Work closely with the engineers to architect
and develop the optimal technical design and
approach ; ability to dive deep into engineering
problems and roll up sleeves if need be; have
the team own and operate best in class software
systems to help Company scale its business.
-Manage team, hire, mentor and enhance skills
to maintain a best in class innovative engineering
team.
-Strive constantly to improve and establish
a new level of excellence in software development.
-Groom talent for succession planning.
Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Science
or related field.
-Strong technical credentials with 6+ years
experience in managing (hire, manage and mentor)
software development teams. Demonstrated and
hands-on experience in building distributed
high performance software systems.
-Certified Scrum Master is a plus.
-OOP and domain modeling.
-SOA / Highly scalable distributed system
-J2EE Tomcat Servlet container model, POJO,
Spring, Hibernate
-Expertise with UNIX, JAVA and Perl/Mason.
-Be able to thrive in an ambiguous environment

-Strong verbal and communication skills.
-Strong analytical skills and an out of the

-Prior experience in building service oriented
