Responsibilities:
-Design and implement the software systems for research and trading software.
-Responsibilities include requirements-gathering, architecting and designing solutions, developing software systems (primarily in Java), defining and collecting goal-focused metrics, and optimizing performance.

Qualifications:
-Strong computer science background and solid Java programming skills
-Superior communication and organizational skills
-Ability to analyze and optimize data structures and algorithms for efficiency, and an eagerness to write and review large amounts of high-quality software in a small team environment
-Understanding of concurrency and distributed computing is preferred, as is general familiarity with existing open-source software packages.
