Responsibilities* : SHIFT (TUES-SAT: 3:30pm-12:00am)
• Provide high-level technical support
during problem determination and resolution.
• Interfaces directly with customer to
provide operational support.
Qualifications :
• College Degree; H.S. Diploma/GED and/or
equivalent work experience required.
• BS degree or equivalent work experience
required. HP Certification preferred.
• Min 1+ years operational experience
in a HP systems environment.
• Strong knowledge of HP server hardware
and peripherals.
• Strong knowledge of HP-UX administration
and troubleshooting.
• 2 years working in a PC/LAN environment.
• 3-year experience in a role involving
direct customer contact (internal and external
customers).
• Knowledge of backup-restore methodologies,
exposure to large-scale hardware configurations
is a plus.
• Knowledge of other platforms, especially
SUN, a plus.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 35
pounds as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication
skills.
• Must be able to work off shifts and
weekends.
• Must be self-motivated, team player,
and able to immediately contribute to a fast
paced, deadline intensive environment.
• Must be able to learn quickly in a highly
technical fast paced environment.
• Proficiency in Windows based applications;
WORD, EXCEL, etc.
