The qualified candidate will research, design,
document and prioritize features for FX trading
applications. The individual will be able to
create business and system requirements for
enhancements to existing trading applications
and also spearhead new initiatives. The candidate
will possess the ability to research and document
market needs for new features, to describe those
features as business requirements, and to transform
those features into use cases which describe
how a trading application should operate.
Responsibilities:
-Gather and document new features and feature
requests for FX trading applications
- Support sales team when product specific knowledge
is needed in conversations with clients
-Coordinate delivery of system use cases and
business requirements in format needed for development
to execute the project
-Ability to use unified rational process to
create use cases and alternate flows
-Ability to update management on the status
of projects which are underway and suggest next
priorities
Qualifications:
-Successful multi year track record in designing,
developing and implementing trading systems
centered on data market data management and
in portfolio trading strategies in either an
asset management or capital markets environment.
-Working knowledge of financial markets and
foreign exchange processes such as trade execution,
risk management, portfolio management and or
OMS. Knowledge of FX products that include:
spot, forwards, swaps, options.
-Extensive background in working on e-trading/e-commerce
projects
-Experience in planning applications for and
integrating applications into approved third
party or proprietary back office systems.
-Excellent written and verbal communication
skills for interfacing with colleagues and customers
-Ability to create detailed milestones for complete
development cycle
-Prioritization of key features and creation
of deliverable timeline
-Clearly create business requirements for clients
based on conversations with partners, customers
and users.
-Translate business requirements into product
features/requirements.
-Strong Organizational skills are required.
