Responsibilities :
Identify potential channel partners to contribute
to overall team revenue goal.
Engage partners at the senior level and help
to select and pursue opportunities with maximum
potential.
Prepare business plan for each potential partner
to evaluate market potential and value proposition.
Structure partner program, prepare go to market
plan and negotiate contract.
Collaborate with cross functional team including
marketing, product development, legal and finance
and administration to implement partner programs.
Maintain pipeline report for each partner program
including: tracking of lead activity and revenue
generation as well as current issues and problem
resolution on a monthly basis.
Maintain lines of communication with channel
partners, including regular face-to-face visits
and frequent calls. Design governance programs
to include monthly meetings at the program manager
level and quarterly at the senior management
level.
Provide business planning support to the Product
Development team in the identification of technology
partners, structuring of partner agreements,
contract negotiation and ongoing governance.
30% travel required
Qualifications :
College Degree preferred but will consider
applicants with equivalent work-related experience
with a minimum educational requirement of a
H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred BA or BS or equivalent combination
of education and experience. MBA a plus.
3-4 years experience in Alliance Management/Channel
Sales Management.
Prior experience managing an indirect channel
program and interfacing with a large, direct,
business to business sales force is preferred.
Proven proficiency and understanding of sales
process, business planning, and product development
in the IT services or related industry.
Excellent oral and written communication and
presentation skills required.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to conceptualize and sell ideas internally.
Innovation and the ability to gain consensus
is necessary.
Negotiation skills essential.
Must be a strong team player as well as an individual
contributor.
Good analytical skills.
Must be well organized.
