Responsibilities:
-Responsible for ongoing development of key
application for Foreign Exchange Options desk.
Systems support trade capture, options pricing,
and online quote requests for the Foreign Exchange
Options brokers globally.
-Hands-on role developing and maintaining systems
that are key to processing of Foreign Exchange
Options transactions.
-Collaborating with other development teams
globally to implement solutions that span multiple
systems.
-Working with the production support and ecommerce
teams to support the production environment
and understand new requirements.
-Once familiar with the environment, the candidate
should be able to proactively advance projects
by performing analysis where required, examining
existing code, making code changes, testing,
and supporting the resulting system.
Mandatory Qualifications:
-4+ years in-depth experience using C#, both
server-side and GUI
-2+ years experience with RDBMS, preferably
Sybase
-Must have an established history of delivering
successful technology solutions in a fast-paced
environment
-Must be capable of working in a focused way
on projects with strict business deadlines
-Must be a self-starter who’s keen to
make an effort to understand our businesses
and systems
-Good communication skills – must be able
to discuss technical design, give clear updates
on status and escalate issues appropriately
Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior experience developing financial systems,
Foreign Exchange Options knowledge a major plus
