Responsibilities:
Work on a six to ten person team to architect, design and develop enhancements and re-factoring of an existing high-speed, real-time order matching system, written in C and C++. This person will be responsible for analysis of business requirements, analysis of existing code and design, documentation of new design, development of test harness, code development and unit/integration testing. Knowledge of low level functions of the Operating System kernel is required. Must be proficient in multi threading and have demonstrable experience in developing highly concurrent software. Fluency with the TCP/IP stack is a must.

Requirements:
-Extensive professional OO architecture and design of enterprise applications using Cobra-like technologies
-Extensive C++ development experience in a UNIX environment
-Extensive C development experience
-Experience with standard industry standard SDLC processes like RUP
-Experience developing real-time or near real-time transaction systems
-10 years of total software development experience
-Previous experience in embedded real-time systems programming and assembler C a plus
-Experience moving C-based systems to an OO/C++ environment a plus
-Experience with designing and developing Order Management Systems with exchange interfaces and market data handlers a plus
