Seeking highly motivated smart individuals who can combine
technical and business skills. The candidates will have
to be very good software developers with in-depth knowledge
of the skills mentioned below. The ideal candidate would
be able to work on multiple projects and manage his/her
time accordingly.
This position gives the candidates a unique opportunity
to develop both technical and business skills in the Foreign
Exchange (FX) Industry. This position offers substantial
exposure to Foreign Exchange markets and the electronic
trading operations that accompany these markets.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement solutions for integrating Company’s
products with those of the clients. This usually involves
software development in C++ / Java / UNIX etc.
-Build and test APIs to banks and Exchange Crossing Networks.
-Support the Company’s products at the client sites
on an ongoing basis. This requires the team members to learn
the trading functionality and the backend functionality
as well.
-Constantly build tools and scripts to automate the installation
and trouble shooting of the system.
-Write custom trading strategies for clients.
-Manage the client accounts and work as relationship managers
for the accounts allocated.
-Come up with New Product/Enhancement Ideas based on the
experience with the clients and assist in the development
and refinement of product and software requirements.
-Take ownership of specific modules within the system and
work on fixing bugs and making enhancements in those modules,
thus contributing to the product release process.
-Contribute to improving internal processes, enhance online
knowledge base, verify product user manuals, and help systems
for correctness.
-Contribute to the system documentation when working on
all enhancements, bug fixes, and new products.
Mandatory Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or higher.
-At least 2 years of experience in C++.
-In-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux, Shell/Perl, C/C++, Java.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Motivation and self-determination to learn and grow.
-Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-Knowledge of TCP/IP programming
-Experience in Financial Services or a related field.
-Knowledge of the FIX protocols
-Database skills
