Vice President, Consulting Services
$125-$175K base ($180-$250K total compensation)

Responsibilities:
-Manage a group of 14
-Front line interaction with all clients (must
be open for some travel within the U.S.)
-Assume overall financial responsibility for
the Professional Services & Consulting Organization
in the US (PS&C) by defining, developing
and implementing the partnering model and relevant
processes, managing the P&L.
-Lead PS&C’s ongoing efforts by designing
and implementing standard project controlling,
project management, QA processes and procedures
internally for client and partner interfaces;
providing industry insight and Client Services
best practices based on experience; and assisting
in strategy development for prospective clients.
-Direct the PS&C department and its processes
and procedures - both client/partner facing
and internally.
-Establish project controlling project management
priorities, milestones, ownership and deadlines,
including interaction with other departments.
-Provide a consistent and professional communications
stream to clients, partners, product management,
product development and executive management.
-Learn and apply technologies as they pertain
to specific client(s), and provide ongoing client-driven
feedback and input to help inform product roadmap
-Coordinate specific projects (as necessary)
that may include working with sales, marketing,
development and accounting.
-Ensure that all aspects of clients’ initiatives
are understood, communicated, and on-track
-Daily system and exception monitoring.
-Ensure all deliverables are on strategy and
meet client/partner standards (act as a steward
of quality and responsiveness).
-Establish a trusting relationship with client
and partners at senior levels.
-Understand the partner/client environment,
key business drivers, and how to help make them
successful.
-As appropriate, provide value by serving as
a marketing partner to the Client.
-Ensure the sustainable organic growth of the
PS&C US department in line with Company’s
objectives.
Qualifications:
-BA/BS degree; MBA preferred.
-Willingness to travel as needed
-10-15 years of managing a world class enterprise
software consulting services and partner organization.
-Experience in a Big 5 accounting firm a plus.
-Understand software life cycle process (Java,
Eclipse, Oracle, SQL Server a plus).
-Managed a large group of consulting services
implementation people both directly and indirectly.
-Clear operational experience in defining and
implementing the process for managing a consulting
services implementation organization.
-Direct experience defining, identifying and
building a successful services partner model
in the US.
-Clear operational experience in defining and
implementing the processes in a “blended”
services model including a direct to client
and direct to partner model.
-Demonstrated experience in defining the appropriate
incentive programs working with partners.
-Demonstrated ability to hire and train consulting
services personnel for the purpose of training
partners on Company’s platform technology
and implementations.
-Candidate has demonstrated ability to grow
services teams organically (through hiring and
training)
-Candidate brings access to network of professionals
that Company could hire from.
-Experience in the PIM, Retail or eCommerce
segment a plus.
-Prior P&L experience a must.
-Experience building a world class services
organization to support growth in a $10m - $50m
enterprise software company.
-Excellent communication skills, both oral and
written along with the ability and willingness
to communicate at all levels.
-Proven ability to establish and maintain strong,
positive relationships with sales, R&D,
services and executive management.
-Proven experience in enterprise software and
architectures.
-Entrepreneurial drive and work ethic.
-Ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up,
team-oriented environment.
-Experience with German culture, German language
and/or projects involving German teams a plus.
