Test & Simulator Lab Specialist

Trading firm is looking for a Test and Simulator Lab Specialist to test both front end and back end applications.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain test scripts and test cases for all applications and services released by development.
-Work closely with current in-house C++ library code base.
-Work closely with other departments to optimize testing process.
-Coordinate and build test scripts for automated testing.
-Identify and investigate reported software bugs.
-Work with trading and trade logic developers to identify testing needs.
-Manage multiple testing projects and schedule tests.
-Develop and maintain quality parameters.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor of Science degree 5+ years in a Linux environment.
-5+ years of testing financial trading systems.
-3-5 years of software testing (via building automated test software).
-Experience with Java/C++ or other OO languages.
-Experience in designing and building test tools and systems.
-Experience with scripting languages.
