Work very closely with senior traders to take
ideas from inception to implementation. This
position calls for a highly motivated candidate
to direct software development and provide hands-on
technical leadership to a geographically diverse
group of seasoned software developers building
software infrastructure to support high frequency-low
latency trading applications deployed globally.
Qualifications:
-A proven track record directing and implementing
High Frequency/Low Latency trading solutions
across multiple exchanges and asset classes.
-The sincere desire to build “best in
class” trading solutions as measured by
software quality and P&L results.
-Strong commitment to a philosophy of continuous
improvement.
-Hands on with C, C++, Linux, Linux System Internals,
C++ frameworks, Compilers, performance analysis,
performance optimization, TCP, UDP, multicast,
high performance messaging, multithreading.
-Hands on development of multiple exchange interfaces
– order entry and market data.
-Strong experience with low latency issues,
including networking, Linux kernel tuning and
FPGA development.
-The ability to thrive in a team environment
- bringing out the best in teammates and leaving
politics behind.
-Ability to communicate vision and ideas effectively
to team members.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
as to effectively convey the technical direction
and document technical environment.
-Solid work ethic and a “what-ever-it-takes
to get the job” done attitude.
