.Net Developer- Team Lead

Position is located in Wheeling, IL.

Responsibilities:
-Lead development of n-tiered applications and automation systems.
-Work with business owners to gather requirements, prepare functional specifications, form project plans, and communicate progress throughout the software development lifecycle.
-Lead multiple projects throughout full lifecycle, interacting with business owners, designers, developers, technical operational teams, QA and support.
-Lead and mentor other developers.
-Understand how trade-offs impact application and data architectures.
-Design and create data architectures, declarative referential integrity, and stored procedures to support business requirements.
-Well-seasoned in the creation of efficient SQL queries and understands how to optimize them for performance.
-Write and maintain software documentation.
-Assist in the development of training material for end users.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
-Experience providing technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration from definition phase through implementation.
-6+ years experience designing enterprise software solutions using Object-oriented analysis & Design (OOAD) methodologies (RUP) and preparing related formal documentation including functional artifacts including Use Cases, Activity Diagrams and technical artifacts including Solution Design Document, Object Model, Class Hierarchy, Sequence Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams, Deployment Diagrams.
-6+ years experience developing high availability/scalability enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
-Minimum 6 years experience developing ASP.NET web applications, using VB.NET or C#, with a Microsoft SQL Server back-end.
-Minimum 6 years experience developing enterprise applications with SQL Server.
-Minimum 6 years experience developing stored procedures (T-SQL), triggers, and views
-Experience working with high volume transaction based systems.
-Experience designing/developing systems requiring high availability.
-Experience designing/developing/implementing high performance Web Services.
-Experience designing/developing/implementing high performance Windows Services.
-Strong analytical and business analysis skills.
-Conducts peer reviews (design and coding) of development team.
-Samples code and mentors team members.
-Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
-Ability to transform business requirements into technical designs.
-Applies knowledge of technology trends and developments to improve solutions.
-Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
-Able to abstract the true business problem in a situation and provide the best solution.
