Responsibilities:

* Provide advice, planning, and direction on Nortel PBX, Voicemail System, Contact Call Center, Video Conferencing Units and other telecommunications related equipment.
* Develop, and ensure compliance with standard procedures and solutions.
* Monitor PBX system performance to assure the dependable and uninterrupted operation of telephone communications. Correct PBX alarm conditions.
* Identify and replace malfunctioning or inoperative equipment, such as circuit cards, processors and perform preventative maintenance.
* Maintain spare backup components.
* Perform daily Moves, Adds and Changes to all telecom related hardware.
* Maintain and update the E911 locator database.
* Order placement and record keeping of wireless devices.
* Work with and coordinate local and long-distance carriers regarding new installations, troubleshooting and repairs.
* Manage cable vendor on a daily basis.
* Update cabling records.
* Schedule video calls for corporate users.
* Maintain Sanyo A/V projectors.
* MDF, IDF, Patch Panel Work.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* 8-10 years relevant experience in telecommunications including project management in a medium to large enterprise.
* Minimum 1 year of TCP/IP and VoIP experience.
* Minimum 1 year project management experience.
* Excellent analytical skills and an extreme attention to detail.
* Basic computer skills to include Word and Excel and other Microsoft products.
* Individual must be self-starter and highly motivated.
* Experience managing work performed by vendors.
* Strong written and oral communication skills and negotiation skills.
* AS/BS in Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent experience required.
