Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure, Automated Market Making

$110-$120K

Key technical skills: C++, Linux, Cross platform development, Middleware, Multithreading, Real-time systems, Financial industry experience.

Overview:
This is an outstanding opportunity to make an impact building and maintaining a next generation Automated Market Making system. The ideal candidate will have significant technical expertise with development, middleware, trading applications and server functionality. As a senior member of the development team, you will also help steer software design and project direction. Mentoring junior developers will also be critical to the success in this role.

Responsibilities:
-Be an integral member of a cross discipline group responsible for delivering new functionality to a rapidly expanding trade desk.
-Be responsible for developing requirements, proposing solutions and delivering software into production environment in a timely and robust manner.
-Develop creative solutions to pressing business needs.
-Solve all problems that come your way.

Qualifications:
-7+ years of core C++ development. Experience in Java or C# is a plus.
-5+ years of experience working in financial services.
-Primary environment is Linux, but experience in cross platform development is a plus.
-Core development experience with middleware, messaging issues and server related functionality.
-Experience building distributed real-time systems.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Exceptional communication skills.
-A strong sense of ownership and a sense to succeed.
