Up to $97K plus comp plan

Responsibilities:
Provide presales support in the assigned region to as many as five sales people for high availability, managed services, data center out-sourcing and Professional Consulting services engagements.
-Deliver Technical presentations of Company's service offerings to new and existing Customers.
-Gather technical information on the customers IT environment to include but not limited to: Data Center Operations, Systems, Networking Infrastructure, Backup processes, applications, User access, and Business unit interdependencies.
-Engage customers to extract critical technical and business drivers that may position Company deliverables.
-Engineer detailed solutions for high availability, managed services, data center out-sourcing and Professional Consulting services for customers and prospects.
-Prioritize and manage to the regional sales opportunities and goals.
-Maintain familiarity and adherence to all Company methods and procedures.
-Consistently manage all Support Requests to a timely and successful completion.
-Ability to provide third level support to other Solution Engineer’s to include assisting with the creation of customized or out of the box solutions.

Qualifications:
-College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
-Preferred Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or work equivalence.
-5 to 7 years of technical services support or pre-sales support experience.
-5 to 7 years of managed hosting services or networking experience.
-"Creditworthiness" and ability to use a personal credit card for all reimbursable expenses is required
-Familiarity with consulting services practices.
-Excellent PC Skills and common business applications. ( MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
-Detailed knowledge of Information Technology to include Data center infrastructures, data backup and recovery concepts and technologies.

In addition to the above required skills, all successful candidates must possess extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability in at least two of the areas described below:
-Extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability in the area of data replication and data mirroring technologies and processes.
-Extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability in the area of Managed Hosting Services, technologies and concepts.
-Extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability in the area of networking and telecommunication technologies and concepts.
-Demonstrated knowledge in the area of system components and usage.
-Demonstrated knowledge in the area of Consulting and Technical Services.
