To research, conceptualize and develop new or complex technologies and their applications. To be involved with project definition and implementation at the process level. To act as a technical resource to projects, to lead software design and research efforts and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities:
-Train and oversee more junior Software Engineers
-Research, define, present and recommend software designs and/or alternative strategies
-Lead team in determining customer requirements and assists team in providing customer solutions
-Read and evaluate RFP’s and Proposals
-Perform critical design reviews
-Handle any area of the system as an expert without assistance and analyze and become productive in an unfamiliar area with only minimal assistance from co-developers
-Acts as key technical resource (Technical Lead) to other engineers and project leaders
-Effectively interfaces with other organizations of the company and acts as a liaison or contact point on both technical and non-technical matters
-Software Engineering Quality, Software Construction and Software Testing

Knowledge of the following technologies is preferred:
-Microsoft Visual Studio C#/VB.Net (2008/2010)
-Java
-J2EE technologies
-Servlet/JSP
-XML
-HTML
-MSSQL 2000-2012
-Oracle 9-12
-Mobile Application development
-Web Technologies/Server configurations

-Advanced Proficiency in Software Requirements, Software Design, Software Engineering Tools & Methods
-Expert Proficiency in Software Maintenance
-Intermediate Proficiency in Software Engineering Management and Software Process
-Advanced Proficiency in designing/developing integration components
