Sr Java Equities Developer / Programmer - Chicago, IL

Seeking an exceptional Sr Java Equities Developer to focus on developing sophisticated trading systems.

You will need strong analytical and problem solving skills to interact with the analysts, trading and development groups to proactively asses, design and develop elegant solutions. You will also create and maintain databases, reporting and analyses in support of these efforts. The ability to draw conclusions from data and transform data, both at a detail and big picture level, into actionable information is a must.

Qualifications:
-Strong Java, SQL (T-SQL ideally) and ASP.NET skills are a necessity in addition to a mathematical background.
-Strong communication skills and demonstrated success working in a team environment by engaging in vigorous debate, treating fellow associates with respect, and using critical thinking skills.
-Passion for solving problems within the financial services space, be highly talented with the JAVA language and hold you own with a group of very talented developers.
