Software Engineer / Project Manager

You will be working with a development team to research, design and develop software for trading teams. Responsibilities include designing and implementing new product features, producing design documents and materials, developing test scenarios, analyzing designs and coding for errors and efficiency. The ideal candidate is able to perform independently as well as part of a team, show critical thinking and be humble in their approach to problem solving. This position will require excellent communication skills as developers interact with both their immediate team and traders alike.

Required Qualifications:
-5+ years experience in software development.
-Proven experience leading a team or managing a project.
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a 4-year university.
-Strong GPA (3.5 or higher).
-C++ as a core proficiency.
-Extensive experience with C# and the .NET framework.
-The ability to transition between programming languages on a need-basis and demonstrate excellence throughout.
-Excellent communication skills and a work ethic that thrives both independently and within a team.

Desirable Qualifications:
-Experience in the development of multithreaded and near real time applications.
-Proficiency with Java.
-Familiarity with the financial services industry.
