Sr C# .NET Developer

The candidate must have programming experience in .NET, C#, WPF, and Prism, as well as experience with real-time multithreaded trading applications.

The role will provide significant exposure to alternative investments, portfolio finance, cash management, and stock loan operations. A core focus of this candidate will be developing client applications that interact and complement real-time trading and financing systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting full suite of applications around the trading and financing lifecycle across various clearing and financing relationships such as prime brokerage, REPO, securities lending and swaps. The candidate is also responsible for developing trade order management systems and command centers that configure, control and monitor algorithmic based systematic executions and optimizing balance sheet utilization.

The candidate ideally would have experience building real-time multi-threading trading applications. The individual must demonstrate impeccable organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple streams of work and posses a natural talent for collaborating with various parties in a fast paced/challenging environment.

Key responsibilities will be to provide support and development of applications to automate the functionalities of portfolio finance and treasury trading desks.

The candidate must be analytical, detailed, focused and capable of building consensus and working with a diverse array of colleagues located in London, NYC and Chicago.

Responsibilities:
-Work closely with traders to gather detailed business requirements and liaise with IT teams to ensure development and delivery of functionality to the business.
-Support applications that are critical for business needs.
-Build a variety of real-time market sensitive trading applications supporting the trade applications supporting the trade and financing lifecycle as well as applications that sit on top of any systematic algorithm based flows.

Qualifications:
-5+ years experience of software development in C#/.Net.
-WPF required.
-Prism required.
-Experience in C++ and Perl an advantage but not required.
-High level of personal integrity and strong work ethic.
-Ability to work in a global environment with team members located in various regions.
-Sound technology understanding and application to financial markets.
-Strong written and oral communication skills.
-Computer science/engineering degree.
