Responsibilities:
-Work with developers and traders to identify testing needs for trading systems.
-Develop and maintain test plans and test cases for high performance infrastructure and client libraries.
-Work closely with in-house C++ library code base.
-Work closely with the manager to optimize testing process for releases.
-Coordinate and build test harnesses and scripts for automated testing.
-Discover and investigate reported software bugs.
-Manage multiple testing projects and scheduling of testing efforts.
-Develop and maintain quality metrics.

Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other technical field of study.
-2+ years experience testing financial trading systems.
-4+ years experience working in a C++ software development environment.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to develop test scripts and harnesses using C++ and Perl or equivalent.
-Conceptual understanding of trading systems including order entry, market data, and risk management.
-Proven track record in quality assurance working with large, complex software applications with high performance, scalability, and reliability demands.
-Clear understanding of basic software development and testing processes.
-Confident team player motivated by a fast-paced environment.
-Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX platform.
