Responsibilities:
-Extensive functional and regression testing of client and server based applications (manual, automated and performance).
-Create and execute test scenarios based on requirements and bug reports.
-Document and maintain test plans and test cases.
-Work closely with all groups (Development, PMO, Service, Operations) to ensure delivery of product.
-Coordinate, collect, and present quality metrics software products and services.
-Involvement in Business Analysis and certify the testability of the business requirements.
-Constant reporting to project stakeholders.
-Performance and regression test automation design and implementation.

Qualifications:
-Skilled in SQL database maintenance, support, data extraction and analysis.
-Experience with IIS and web system deployment.
-Familiarity with 64-bit OS and application performance.
-Understanding of load and capacity testing.
-Execute established test plans.
-Maintain documentation.
-Familiarity with the software development process and how this relates to the goals of the organization.
-Ability to design and implement test cases from minimal requirements.
-Possess a working knowledge of quality principles and best business practices.
-Skills in Perl and/ or Windows Powershell or other scripting language.
-C++, C#, Perl, SQL.
-Some previous software development experience is extremely beneficial.
-Individual needs to be a self-directed problem solver with an analytical mind and an appetite for continual learning; ability to grasp complex architectures quickly.
-Experience in the financial markets with a concentration in order routing and/or market data.
-Excellent written communication skills.
-Experience with HP Quality Center and GUI automation strongly recommended.
-Knowledge of windows software architecture (familiar with DLLs, .NET assemblies, Registry settings, GAC, etc.).
-Familiarity with automated testing concepts.
-Experience with FIX Protocol.
-Experience with QTP a plus.
-College degree with 3-5 years experience in the financial services or data services/IT industry.
