MUST have experience in futures trading industry.

The successful candidate will join a technically diverse team responsible for managing the company’s global infrastructure. This includes actively monitoring and maintaining all infrastructure components, lead ad-hoc tasks and projects, as well as interacting with clients to assist with their ongoing needs. This position grants the opportunity to be hands on in a vast variety of technologies ranging from server based infrastructure (Solaris, Linux, Wintel, VMS systems administration ) to system level programming (shell scripting, Perl scripting, VB scripting).

Required Skills:
-Understanding of Futures trading and connectivity trading auctioning process A MUST
-3 Years MINIMUM of experience using UNIX
-BS in Computer Science/Engineering, MIS or related engineering/science fields
-5 years experience in engineering, engineering support, or technical support environment or equivalent consulting experience
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Prior customer-facing experience a plus

Skills and Abilities:
-Experience with Windows Server, Wintel Linux, Networking system administration; LDAP is a plus
-Experience with Shell scripting, C/C++ and Java a plus
-Demonstrated leadership ability, strong team player who enjoys working in a fast paced atmosphere
-Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects
-Self motivated, directed and passionate about what you do
-Must be able to work the occasional weekend, holiday and after hours support
