Network Support Engineer - READY TO HIRE! (IL)

Downtown Chicago location!!

Cisco Certification a PLUS.

Responsible for the hands-on installation and routine maintenance/troubleshooting of a Cisco-based, multi office Ethernet IP voice and data network.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with the physical installation and maintenance of all LAN communication equipment (routers, switches, hubs, IP Phones, CallManager PBX, wireless access points) including applying security and feature updates.
- Assist in troubleshooting end user network connectivity issues (wiring, equipment, and configurations)
- Provide network technical assistance to Help Desk technical support personnel
- Check the monthly voice and data invoices for accuracy against current contracted rates.
- Provide administrative reports on a regular basis
- Document configuration changes to network equipment.

Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science preferred
- 2-5 years experience in computer / network support arena.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching hardware, Cisco CallManager, and IOS configurations,
- WAN experience (Frame-relay and MPLS) a plus
- Must be focused on Customer Satisfaction and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of IT support, Management, and end users.
