Network Systems Engineer
Keys to position are strong VMware, ESX, strong
PowerShell scripting and experience with IIS/Web.

Responsibilities:
The Network Systems Engineer is responsible
for ensuring that all Intel based server systems
are properly deployed, maintained, administered,
supported and updated in an effective manner.
This individual will assist other engineers
and analysts in implementing innovative and
cost effective technology services encompassing
both hardware and software based systems, to
support our objectives for customer satisfaction,
growth and organizational effectiveness.
Under the direction of the Network Systems
Team Leader and working in conjunction with
our partnered vendor resources, the Network
Systems Engineer will recommend, implement and
support server and LAN/WAN network services,
client/server application, Email, Intranet,
Extranet, Internet, Fax Server and Terminal
Server. This individual will also assist and
train other network team individuals in these
technologies and applications.
-Automate and monitor and deployment of .net
applications using PowerShell
-Monitoring and updating the servers and all
its related peripherals such as storage and
security components.
-Assist in the development, implementation and
support initiatives of the Internet/Extranet/Intranet
-Configuration and installation of client/server
hardware, systems and software
-Provide proactive network management with deployment
and use of management tools.
-Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of server
hardware and software.
-Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating
technical documentation as pertains to the enterprise
-Assist Application Support and Infrastructure
group in troubleshooting various service issues
Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree, College diploma in Computer
Science and/or Related practical business experience
-At least 7 years experience in enterprise-networking
environment.
-At least 4-5 years experience in implementation,
troubleshooting and monitoring of client/server
enterprise environment
-Windows 2003/R2 & 2008/R2 Server
-IIS 6/7
-ISA 2006
-Scripting (PowerShell a must)
-SCCM 2007
-VMware vSphere
-ASP, HTML, .net
-Splunk
-Linux knowledge a plus
-Excellent oral and written communications skills.
-Microsoft Certified Software Engineer (MCSE)
-VMware Server Certification
-Project Management experience
-Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication
skills.
-Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability
to work with all levels of employees.
-Team player with customer oriented focus.
