.Net Developer

VB.Net, RUP, MS SQL Server 2000, Win Server 2003, T-SQL, Win Forms.Net

Job Description:

Be responsible for designing and developing high-end Client Server and Web based software to the specifications and requirements of business analysis teams and external customers. This position requires expert knowledge of win forms .Net as well as proven experience in developing high-availability, high-demand web-based applications. The position also requires working knowledge of UML in designing and representing SOA, MVC and other Enterprise Application Design Patterns.

Responsibilities:

* Design and develop multi-tier/multi-layer applications using methodologies such as UML and object-oriented concepts.
* Develop high-end VB.Net applications to the specifications of the design team.
* Participate in SDLC in regards to planning, estimating of projects including requirements gathering, high-level design, work estimates and testing.
* Work with business analysis team to understand requirements and be able to clearly communicate those requirements to other developers.

Qualifications:

* Expert knowledge of VB.Net
* Strong knowledge of distributed computing (remoting, COM+, MSMQ, etc.).
* 1 year or more of business analysis experience highly preferred.
* Experience with .Net remoting is a plus.
* Knowledge of UML, RUP and related software methodologies.
* Team player, dedicated, commitment to success.
* Proficiency in MS SQL Server 2000 required (T-SQL and DB Administration).
* Proficiency in coding optimizations and security.
* Experience with MS Windows Server 2003.
